1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using GenPrinting (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and GenPrinting. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
2. Description of Service
GenPrinting provides an AI-powered platform that allows users to:
- Generate custom poster designs from text prompts using advanced AI image generation technology
- Upscale selected images to high resolution for printing
- Order physical prints of AI-generated artwork with optional framing
- Receive professionally printed and shipped posters via our fulfillment partner (Gelato)
The Service uses artificial intelligence and third-party printing services. Quality, appearance, and delivery times may vary based on factors beyond our direct control.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use GenPrinting. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:
- You are 18 years of age or older
- You have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
- You will comply with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations
- All information you provide to us is accurate and up to date
4. User Accounts
4.1 Account Creation
To use GenPrinting, you must create an account using:
- Email authentication:We'll send a magic link to your email address
- Google OAuth: Sign in with your Google account
4.2 Account Security
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Ensuring your email address remains valid and accessible
5. Acceptable Use Policy
When using GenPrinting, you agree NOT to create, generate, or attempt to generate content that:
5.1 Prohibited Content
- Content that violates any applicable laws or regulations
- Violence, terrorism, self-harm, or dangerous activities
- Pornography, sexually explicit material, or nudity
- Content that depicts or exploits children in any way
- Harassment, bullying, or threats against individuals or groups
- Hate speech or discrimination based on protected characteristics
- Deepfakes or impersonation of real people without consent
- Content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other IP rights
- Deliberately false or misleading content intended to deceive
- Fraudulent schemes, spam, or malicious activities
5.2 Rate Limits
To maintain service quality and prevent abuse, we enforce credit balances on:
- Number of AI image generations
- Number of image upscales
Current credit balances and starter allowances are displayed in your account dashboard. Credits are consumed when requests start. Attempting to circumvent these controls through multiple accounts or technical means is prohibited and may result in account termination.
5.3 System Abuse
You must not:
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or access the Service's source code
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
- Overload or interfere with the Service's infrastructure
- Bypass security measures or access controls
- Resell or redistribute access to the Service without authorization
5.4 Enforcement
Violation of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in:
- Immediate removal of violating content
- Temporary or permanent suspension of your account
- Reporting to law enforcement authorities when appropriate
- Legal action for damages
6. AI-Generated Content
6.1 Ownership and Rights
You own the AI-generated images created through GenPrinting. You may use these images for:
- Personal use
- Commercial use
- Printing and merchandise
- Social media and marketing
- Any other lawful purpose
6.2 AI Disclaimer
AI-generated content is produced by machine learning models and may:
- Produce unexpected, inaccurate, or unintended results
- Contain artifacts, distortions, or quality issues
- Not exactly match your prompt or expectations
- Vary in style, quality, and interpretation between generations
- Occasionally produce biased or problematic output despite our best efforts
Important: You are solely responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before ordering prints. We do not guarantee that generated content will be suitable for your intended purpose or meet your expectations.
6.3 Your Input Responsibilities
You represent and warrant that:
- You have the right to submit all prompts and content you provide
- Your prompts do not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights
- You will not use prompts designed to generate prohibited content
6.4 Service Availability
The Service depends on third-party AI providers (including fal.ai for AI generation). We do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted availability of AI generation services
- Consistent generation times (may vary from seconds to minutes)
- Availability of specific AI models (providers may update or remove models)
We reserve the right to update our AI technology to improve quality, performance, or maintain service availability.
7. Pricing and Payments
7.1 Pricing Structure
All prices are displayed in British Pounds (GBP). Pricing varies by:
- Shipping country: United Kingdom
- Product type: Unframed poster or framed poster
- Frame options: White, natural wood, dark wood, or black frame
- Assembly: Ready-to-hang or not-assembled
Current pricing is displayed on our website and at checkout. Prices vary based on the factors listed above. The final price shown at checkout is the amount you will be charged.
7.2 Payment Processing
Payments are processed securely through Stripe Checkout. We accept:
- Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
- Debit cards
- Other payment methods supported by Stripe in your region
Your payment information is processed directly by Stripe and never stored on our servers. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.
7.3 Price Changes
We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect orders already placed. The price shown at checkout is the final price you will pay.
7.4 Taxes and Duties
All prices include applicable taxes. The final price shown at checkout is the amount you will be charged. We currently ship only within the United Kingdom, so import duties and customs fees do not apply.
8. Orders and Fulfillment
8.1 Order Processing
After successful payment:
- Your order is automatically submitted to our print partner (Gelato)
- You will receive an order confirmation email
- Your poster is printed at a facility nearest to your shipping address
- You will receive shipping updates via email
8.2 Delivery Times
Estimated delivery times (from order placement):
- United Kingdom: 3-4 business days
These are estimates only. Actual delivery times may vary due to production schedules, shipping carrier delays, customs processing, or other factors beyond our control.
8.3 Shipping Restrictions
We currently ship to UK residential and business addresses only. P.O. boxes and BFPO addresses are not supported. We plan to expand to additional countries in the future.
Delivery times to remote UK addresses may be longer than standard shipping due to carrier transit times.
8.4 Shipping Address
You are responsible for providing an accurate and complete shipping address. We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by you. Address changes after order submission may not be possible.
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 Your Generated Content
You own all rights to the AI-generated images created through your account. You may use them for any lawful commercial or personal purpose without restriction.
9.2 Our Platform
GenPrinting retains all rights to:
- The GenPrinting platform, website, and applications
- Our branding, logos, and trademarks
- Our source code and proprietary technology
- Our user interface and design
9.3 License to Us
By using the Service, you grant GenPrinting a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:
- Store and process your prompts and generated images
- Display your generated images in your account
- Transmit images to our print partner for order fulfillment
- Use anonymous, aggregated data to improve our service
We will never use your content for marketing purposes or share it publicly without your explicit consent.
9.4 Third-Party Rights
The AI models we use (via fal.ai) may have their own terms regarding generated content. By using GenPrinting, you also agree to comply with:
10. Refunds and Returns
10.1 Your Cancellation Rights (UK & EU Consumers)
14-Day Cooling-Off Period: If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your print, for any reason, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
Custom Products Exception: However, personalized or custom-made goods are exempt from the 14-day cancellation right under UK law. Because your poster is made-to-order based on your specific AI-generated design, it qualifies as a custom product and is therefore exempt from the standard cancellation right.
Cancellation before production: You may cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it, provided production has not yet begun. Contact us immediately at support@genprinting.com.
10.2 No General Refunds
Due to the custom, made-to-order nature of our products, we do not offer refunds for:
- Change of mind after production begins
- Dissatisfaction with AI-generated design
- Color or style differences from screen display
- Personal preference or expectations
Important: Please carefully review your AI-generated image before ordering. Once payment is processed and production begins, the order cannot be cancelled.
10.3 Quality Issues
We stand behind the quality of our prints. We will provide a replacement at no cost if:
- Damaged in transit: Print arrives torn, creased, or damaged
- Printing defects: Significant color banding, streaks, or printing errors
- Wrong product: Incorrect size, frame, or item shipped
- Manufacturing defects: Issues with frame assembly or materials
10.4 Reporting Issues
To report a quality issue:
- Contact us within 14 days of delivery
- Email support@genprinting.com with your order number
- Provide clear photos of the issue
- Describe the problem in detail
We will review your claim and, if approved, send a replacement at no charge. Approved claims typically receive a replacement within 1-2 weeks.
10.5 Lost Packages
If your order shows as delivered but you did not receive it:
- Check with neighbors and household members
- Verify the shipping address on your order
- Contact us within 14 days of the delivery date
- We will investigate with the shipping carrier
10.6 AI Credit Top-Ups (Digital Purchases)
Purchases of AI credit packs add generation and upscale credits to your account.
Top-ups are final once credits are added, except where the law requires a refund or we agree in limited cases (for example duplicate charges or billing errors). We do not refund top-ups because you changed your mind or were unhappy with AI output - see section 6.2 .
If we refund a top-up payment through Stripe, we remove the matching credits from your wallet (up to the amount originally granted for that purchase) so your balance matches the refund. Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights as a UK or EU consumer. Questions: support@genprinting.com.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY OF AI-GENERATED CONTENT, OR UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES (INCLUDING AI PROVIDERS AND FULFILLMENT PARTNERS) ARE SUBJECT TO THEIR OWN TERMS AND WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES REGARDING THEIR PERFORMANCE.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015.
12. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, breach of your statutory rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GENPRINTING SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. Our total liability for all claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three (3) months preceding the claim, or £100, whichever is greater.
13. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GenPrinting, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any third-party claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with:
- Your breach of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights
- Content you generate or prompts you submit that violate applicable laws or third-party rights
- Your violation of applicable laws or regulations in your use of the Service
- Your willful misconduct or negligence
This indemnification does not apply to claims arising from our negligence, breach of these Terms, or violation of applicable law. For individual consumers, this indemnification is limited to the extent permitted under applicable consumer protection laws.
14. Termination
You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by contacting us at support@genprinting.com.
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent or illegal activity, or if required by law. If we discontinue the Service entirely, we will provide reasonable notice to allow you to download your content.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases but outstanding orders will still be fulfilled. We retain transaction records for legal and accounting purposes as described in our Privacy Policy.
15. How to Complain
If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service or products, we want to hear from you and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
- Contact us at support@genprinting.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and any supporting photos.
- We will acknowledge your complaint within 2 working days.
- We aim to resolve all complaints within 14 days of receiving them. If we need more time, we will let you know and explain why.
- If you are not satisfied with our response, you may seek advice from Citizens Advice (citizensadvice.org.uk) or pursue the matter through the courts.
16. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Nothing in these Terms affects your mandatory statutory rights under the consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.
Before filing any legal claim, we encourage you to contact us at support@genprinting.com to attempt to resolve the issue informally.
17. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will:
- Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
- Post a notice on our website for significant changes
Changes become effective immediately upon posting unless otherwise specified. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Service.
We recommend you review these Terms periodically for any updates.
18. Miscellaneous
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and GenPrinting regarding the Service. If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes outside our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, or failures of third-party services.
